We have 14 years' experience developing skills programmes in schools, such as the Pre-Senior Baccalaureate and Skills Development Framework. Having launched and developed the Learning Skills Trust, James is one of the most experienced consultants in this area — whether it is initial advice about creating a Skills Curriculum, or the detailed work of building a framework and training staff, from Reception to Year 13.
Headship is challenging. We believe good heads talk, and have developed a mentoring programme based on the experience of doing the job. Ongoing support, tailored to the individual, ensures the best outcomes. Mentoring is about understanding the issues heads and staff face and developing strategies to deal with them — a confidential, experienced shoulder to lean on. Looking after people is what we do.
